There are (strong) rumours Diamond and Pearl remakes aren't happening anytime soon

They will make a Let's Go Johto, reusing assets and maps from the original Let's Go. It's less expensive than remaking Sinnoh from scratch

I find it unfortunate, a good Sinnoh remake is a 20 mi+ seller locked if the game meets the bare minimum quality, but we are talking about Game Freak...
