consoles are always cheaper in japan then ANYWHERE ELSE lol.
32,980 is literally 299$ with 10% tax, considering the exchange rate, its actually CHEAPER to buy an xbox in japan then in the US if the tax is equal at 10% (since tax varies by state in the US)
actually 34,980 would be closer to equal price.
im fully expecting 379,990 won in korea (1000 won=1$ in feeling, actual exchange rate is normally around 1070 to 1 but currently its really high at 1170 to 1...)
