No. TPHD has the same upgraded textures and lighting as WWHD. They just stand out less because of the more realistic artstyle, but side by side with the Wii and Gamecube versions the difference is actually really big. It also cut down on the twilight bugs sections the same way WWHD cut down on the triforce shard quest and included all of the same control and interface improvements WWHD had as well as a hard mode with the entire game flipped like it was in the Wii version, not to mention the amibo support and added gauntlett cave.
