I love the first one and I'd recommend it to anyone. Although the original is a tragedy, it feels more like a classic tragic adventure, and everything was meaningful and full of hope. The end was kinda of a giving, I think no one would expect a proper fix for the disease. But still, the road trip was meaningful and could always get to a good settlement, even without a cure.

Now, driving mad women through revenge, is an absolutely inferior proposition by all means.

LOL yes. I admit that would be glad with a Jackson community building game or at least a sequel written by Steven Spilberg a la Falling Skies.

And just to clarify a few things, I don't know much about the political background of reviewers but in my case I'm not adding anything political and my point is not about violence only.

I also can agree that it's a sincere work, which is a good thing, but still sincerely miserable and ugly.

Well, as I wrote to KLA Marine a few pages ago (direct link), I've reached the conclusion in my replays that the ending of The Last of Us Part II is actually a hopeful one if you pay attention to the details. At least that's how I interpret it anyway.

Concerning your preference that this game should've either been a Jackson community-building title or written by Steven Spielberg...well at least you got half your wish with all the Jurassic Park and Lost World references and allusions both at the museum and in the auto chase scene (allusion to the Lost World arcade game). It's kind of like Steven Spielberg was involved.

Hahaha brilliant.

But anyway, for all those who see better things on the second than the first, I just have to say that I couldn't disagree more. The disagreement is so strong that makes it impossible to debate. For me seeing more light on this game than the first is just completely bonkers.

Kotaku reviewer just nailed it when they called it misery simulator. I'll stick to that and it's final. I'll never replay this game, I'll resell it instead.

God bless You.
