The more Nintendo waits the more people sell their Switch. Similar to the Wii and Wii U era. Long droughts and people got sick of it and just sold them off.

I don't know how you know that information, but the Wii sold pretty damn good while the Wii U tanked, so really odd to say they are similar. Switch has already blown past the Wii U and iirc is on pace with Wii, I don't think 1 bad year that still had Animal Crossing will reverse it's trajectory.
