The more I watch the trailer, the more I feel this could be the type of Batman film I've been wanting to see.
I'm getting a strong Tim Burton dark atmosphere vibe, with Nolan's cinematography.
When the logo appears along with that score, it had me sold.

Btw I like Batman's quick movements.

I don't know about Pattinson's Bruce, but he looks like a good Batman.

Also, Arnold from Westworld as Gordon seems like a really good pick.

Well they cast Pattinson to play Bruce, not Batman. I wouldn't worry about that at least.

I really like the new Gordon already too. He was great in Westworld (when that was still interesting), and immediately looked like a great fit as a detective/police comissioner. I liked Zoe Kravitz in Crimes of Grinderwald, so I'm looking forward to her Catwoman. 'Just wonder how Colin Farrell's Penguin (I didn't even recognise him in the trailer until I just googled it, holy shit!) is meant to fit in to this narrative.

Also the trailer song is 'Something in the Way' by Nirvana. That should help give an idea to the emotional maturity or psychological state his character is in. Expect more dark moodiness and emotional growing pains.

If you find that 'too edgy' this might not be the Batman movie for you, but they're not just forcing this in out of nowhere. Bruce has gone through some messed up shit, and it's nice a movie could actually focus closely on these psychological aspects of his character, without being too bogged down having to include the usual amount of superhero theatrics.
