it automatically becomes a much more important release.

??? Because it's predecessors had low sales it suddenly becomes more important? Weird reasoning IMO. Important is still rated in absolute sales correct? So selling more than a low selling predecessor doesn't make a game more important, more successful than its predecessors perhaps.

And even the reasoning that just because there are not many survival horror games on the Wii, it will sell better than on PS360 is hardly convincing. Perhaps fans of survival horror are more inclined to buy a game on PS360 than on Wii? Perhaps in this genre great graphics and atmosphere beats motion controls? But we will see.

It has nothing to do wtih previous editions. It has to do with the increase in brand appeal due to being more important to the Wii lineup and because it has less competition for sales. It's similar reasoning to why launch titles do so much better than any other.

And I never said it was going to sell amazing, I'm just saying given the circumstances it has a much better chance to sell. And yes I do think it'll sell better on Wii than if it had been on PS360 for once again said reasoning. Now if Fatal Frame had been a big series, similar to that of RE, then I would think it would sell best on PS360. But because this is a smaller series and the given reasons, I have to go with Wii. While it'd probably get overshadowed on the PS3 and 360, it's harder for that to happen on the Wii because less saturation in that area of the game library for Wii.

If this game gets good enough marketing, it could become the ToS of the Wii
