The latest we've heard of Metroid Prime 4 is during Kensuke Tanabe's Paper Mario interview. In it, he mentioned that Nintendo's design philosophy has casual players in mind. He gave the example of the Metroid Prime series as something that looks like it's only for core gamers at a glance, but has beginner friendly elements.

Do you agree? Do you think Metroid Prime 4 should be more casual friendly? How so? Discuss.

Gamers tend to confuse the term 'beginner friendly' with 'casual' and believe the game will be watered down. Instead, it's probably going to be less clunky but more intuitive. This is a good thing, if you ask me.
