*nods* Then you've got OCPD. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but I have a clinically diagnosed case of OCPD and I did a lot of research after the fact to differentiate between the two. A lot of people just lump it all in as OCD when that's a far more crippling, irrational, potentially damaging disorder than OCPD. They're very different things but have very similar names/acronyms so people lump 'em in together.

Yeah as someone with clinically diagnosed OCD it's a hell of a lot more sinister and harmful than the stereotypes suggest. It's less feeling antsy over uneven numbers and more being convinced you're dying of cancer because you accidentally inhaled a bit of cigarette smoke four years ago, or feeling like you'll be murdered in your sleep if you don't check if the doors are locked six times before bed.
