Nvidia doesn't have a problem to lower prices when they get more competition.
In 2014 they suddenly had a lot more competition than before by the R7 290 and R7 290 X and the new consoles.
At the end of 2020 they suddenly have a lot more competition than before by RDNA2-cards and the new consoles.
