I know I'm in the minority with this but I really like the free NES and SNES games on the NSO service so much. I'm on a trip down memory lane these days and I love so many classic video games from that era soooo much, and I think a big part of it is due to the fantastic music. Many of these games have such great soundtracks that I can listen to all day and I will never get tired of. like Megaman, Castlevania, Contra, Super Mario Bros, Ice Climber, Kid Icarus, Clu Clu Land, Balloon Fight, Final Fantasy, Dr. Mario, Ninja Gaiden, Metroid, Zelda, Kirby, Startropics, and on and on and on. I am completely addicted again! And those are just the NES games, the SNES has a ton more also. I am a very happy gamer these days.

I don't think you're in the minority... The games being offered are fine, but the problem is that such a small portion of their library is available. No reason more consoles couldn't be represented, and more titles.

I think it will happen eventually. It appears like they want to chop it into thin slices and drop a few games every now and then in order to maintain the long term appeal. We can like or dislike this strategy all we want, but more games and platforms will come, I'm pretty sure. I guess it's matter of attitude but instead of being grumpy about the things I do not have, I rather enjoy the things I do have.
