If I remove the fluff, I think what we'll see is pretty much what everyone expects:

1. Gears, forza and halo.
2. Actual gameplay of sorts for Hellblade 2 and finishing the show with Fable teaser.

Graphically, I don't think anything will beat anything on the ps5, it's too early still. They might have things on par, but nothing like the R&C demo.

A lot of it will be about:
1) the most powerful console
2) xcloud
3) gamepass

I think the chicken game with the price will continue. They will announce price for lockhart, but not give away the price for the x.

What I gather from what Phil has said is in terms of games is:

1) more exclusives from 1st party
2) more story related games
3) combination of AAA, AA and smaller. It won't be like Sony where every studio churns out AAA games.

And yes, although MS have driven some innovation in the console world, they are not the only innovators.

Gamepass and Xcloud are MS's take on Gaikai /Psnow. Difference being you get big fans day one on gamepass and PSnow allows you to stream and download in one service. You can get access to both on PC and their own hardware, with MS pushing further with smaller devices.

Ultimately I think not much will change for the three:

1) MS's key goal has always been their OS and with the push and growth in service they can achieve that better each gen. They will do really well in this space and be better than Google and amazon. In terms of exclusive content, they will be better than their past, but still not on sony's level.

2) Sony has always been about hardware and games and will continue to be. Their service will be similar but not as far reaching and accessible as MS's, especially for day one games.

3) Nintendo will continue to be the Disney and apple of gaming.

Side note: if Phil is who he says he is, bring me a new Otogi.
