I just refuse to use 1080p after looking at higher it genuinely look 'blurry' in comparison. 

We may end with a mess that PS5 sends a supersampled 1080p image to your 1440p monitor and it upscale.

Yep, that's the nightmare scenario, Would probably look better on my secondary 1080p 23inch monitor than the 27inch 1440p one.. sigh. 

Will probably have to bite the bullet and work my ass off over summer to be able to justify a 4k monitor purchase and PS5.
