It all depends on the games. Look at the success of Monster Hunter on PS4 in Japan. But they can't expect that Call of Duty or GTA sells good in Japan. Since PS3 Sony sees the bigger market outside Japan, but I don't think that japanese people don't want to play at home anymore. It's a vicious circle. No japanese games --> no buys... and no buys --> no japanese games. One side has to start again.
