People are making it seems like Monster Hunter World success completed obliterated the success the series had on handhelds.
Yes, overall sales way exceeded the handheld ones but people seem to forget that for the handhelds Capcom was able to release 3-4 per console generation. That is not and will not be the case with HD/console versions.
Development time is way too long compared to handheld versions.
