I don't think it should be. I mean, people enjoyed other Star Fox games besides Lylat Wars, too.
The only ones I really couldn't get into were Star Fox 1 and 2 on SNES. As far as I'm concerned, those games are as playable as bad NES games from the earlier half of the generation.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
