The "hardware limitations" of the Switch are severly over reported.  Any third party game that is on the PS4 right now could be ported to the Switch if the devs wanted.  The real limitation is in cart size.  Carts cost more than discs.  That's the limitation.  Consequently, we mostly see smaller sized games ported over.  As cart prices come down, we'll see more third party games with a larger file size.  That's when we'll know who really wants their games on the Switch and who is blowing smoke. (e.g. EA)

See the interview with Virtuos Games on nintendolife.com: "We now have no doubt that Switch adaptations can be worked for games on any of the current generation of consoles (PS4/XB1)."

As I said in another thread where this was brought up, I honestly don't think there's anything on PS4/Xbone that couldn't be ported to Switch in a recognizable and intact state. You might need to significantly reduce the graphical quality, but it would fundamentally be the same game, just less pretty.
