Pretty much. I mean, there's a case to be made that we've already seen third year Switch games like Witcher 3, Hellblade, and Luigi's Mansion 3 pushing beyond the standards of its first and second year games.

Tools and rendering techniques are constantly improving and the more developers work with a platform, the more they learn how to get the most out of it by maximizing its strengths and circumventing its weaknesses.
