Anybody know for sure if the Definitive Edition will have difficulty settings? Xenoblade Chronicles 2 introduced difficulty settings (though I played on Normal), which is a great option.
Xenoblade Chronicles took me about 200 hours to complete the main quest. I'm dead serious. I did some side quests, but that maybe was 20 hours at most. I spent a lot of time grinding because I never fully got the full extent of the combat system. I obviously learned some things and some useful strategies, but not enough. By contrast, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 took me about 70 hours to complete the main quest.
The $60 price tag is enough to discourage me from getting the Definitive Edition right now. But if there's no difficulty settings, that's a dealbreaker. I don't want to spend 150+ hours on a remake of a game I've already played when there are so many other games I can play. I need to get back to Xenoblade Chronicles X at some point as is. I haven't played that one in about a year-and-a-half, and only played about the first 4 hours.
