Oh, I have an argument to retort with.  But this isn't the thread for that debate and a mod (who I note you didn't reply to) already said to not to carry the conversation in that direction.

So if you want a response, make a thread. 

It was not an attempt to bring up race, the whole point is about we only care because because it’s affecting our people, people who live close by, people who we personally care about, etc. Confusion cleared?
