That’s really interesting because it brings up the idea of why we play. I’m sure the gameplay is world class. Since it’s a narrative driven game does the story carry equal or more weight then the actual gameplay? Guess everyone is different but I’m curious where people stand. 

Can only speak for Mass Effect 3 which was still an excellent game and had the best gameplay of the series. Yeah the ending was disappointing but that didn't stop me from enjoying the game or series as a whole. I don't think it ruined the series. Similar to how I think the TV series Lost wasn't ruined by the (definitely imperfect) ending.

However, I can see why people would get really mad at the story decisions of TLoU2.
