Browser extensions can be a simple method but they will miss a lot that can only truly be found in dedicated hardware with the actual browser.  That's what these cross-browser/cross-platform web sites do.

I didn't suggest those because they need a paid subscription. Not sure if VGChartz would cover for those $20-30 per month per user, even though it's needed for the website.

That said, I didn't know about Browsershots yet. The question is how long until it's your turn in the queue, might take a while before your site submission gets tested.
