You'll have a story that you can tell your daughter years from now when she grows up, about how you overcame the fear to keep her and her mother safe in the early 2020's and how you couldn't have done without them, it made you stronger and put life and what matters, fundamentally, into perspective. 

We'll get through this man, it's not the end of the world but it is the end of things as we know it and if you look at history humans always make things better and more prosperous after cataclysms, wars or other adversity. Use that as the good news you need, it's going to be a rough few years but by the time your daughter is old enough to remember she'll be living in a better world.
