I think u are missing something. Or really I dont think ur making the edfort to understand the critique. Of the games listed, I would only use arms to defend against the critique.

I would say Arms and Astral Chain, but I get where you're coming from. There really aren't a lot of games of an impressive scope that aren't related to an existing IP. I would say Nintendo took a decent leap with Arms this gen, and Splatoon on the Wii U. Still, they don't really stretch themselves much creatively. Makes sense from a business standpoint - but from an artistic one they sometimes underwhelm.

I can definitely agree with that sentiment. To add a different perspective however, you could also go the extra step and discount astral chain. Not because of its scope, but because its a second party title. Depending on the deal it could be multiplat like w101 someday.

I kinda get it tho. Ur gonna have ur zelda team making zelda games. Its a proven series. Same w mario, pokemon and the like. Its why I was hoping 10do would buy or develop more studios in the recent past.  Its cool to see monolithsoft (did I say that right? Feels off) grow how it has.
