True. And at 2.2Ghz RDNA2 wouldn't even need that many CU to get really dangerous, 48 could already suffice if Ampere isn't a huge jump forward, otherwise 56 would be really dangerous for NVidia.

I just hope Sony didn't overdo it with 2.2Ghz. RRoD, anyone?

It would be hilarious is Sony had a problem of that kind .

Had the same thought about RROD, but labelled it RVOD specifically for PS5.

If not overheating, a gigantic form factor would be just about as bad. Like PS3 vs 360, but bigger than a mini fridge this time.

PS1   - ! - We must build a console that can alert our enemies.

PS2  - @- We must build a console that offers online living room gaming.

PS3   - #- We must build a console that’s powerful, social, costs and does everything.

PS4   - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.

PRO  -%-We must build a console that's VR ready, checkerboard upscales, and sells but a fraction of the money printer.

PS5   - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.

PRO  -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.
