The problem is that it sucks that we had to play Xenoblade Chronicles X on the Wii U instead of the NX/Switch; once that game comes to the Switch. None of the other Wii U games you mentioned were even worth playing on that console, especially when you could play better versions on other consoles, since most of what you listed were ports.

It's kind of a strange argument that "Da gaffix is better on Wii U" considering it was the lowest end home console of its time. Not only that, but it was more slow and sluggish than the Wii in the previous generation.

The fact is the 3DS had the stronger lineup of games, portability, the better interface, and didn't exist in constant drought. While the 3DS is perhaps the weakest of the handhelds (Of the 4, it's either 3DS or GBA, and neither is a slouch - the GB and DS were monsters) it's still leagues above Wii U. The Wii U is one of the two systems in argument for Nintendo's worst major hardware release, alongside PS2 Junior/Gamecube.

Somehow I don't think you guys are reading my posts, if you want to comment I recommend reading first, no other games worth playing? Go back and read

Wind Waker HD

Twilight princess HD

ZombiU is better than on ps4

Wonderful 101

Pikmin 3

And more, many of those games are better than any game released so far on the switch. And all games that were ported to the switch cost 1 quarter of the price on the wiiU, so you get more value for your money on wiiU

3DS portability is not better than wiiU graphics, I'd rather sacrifice portability to have decent graphics, the ones on 3ds were only good for side scrollers, full 3d games looked horrendous on it and the second joystick was horrible, was not even a joystick.

I don't see that strong lineup games that you see on 3ds, I see a lot of overrated games on it such as pokemon or animal crossing.

You find strange that the graphics are better on wiiU? The 3ds had a 240p screen, yeah that's right, most games on wiiU were 720p or even 1080p which is 17x the resolution of 240p, yeah you read that right, seventeen times the pixel count. I wouldnt call that better graphics, I call it way way better, by far. Not even comparable.

240p should not have even been acceptable even back in 2011, the older psp had a much higher resolution, the Vita just destroyed the 3ds in graphics. Even the N64 which released in 1996 had better resolution than the 3DS.

I do love Nintendo and games in general but lets be honest here, 3DS only advantage was full portability and nothing else.

Opinions are a dime a dozen. It's irrelevant whether or not you think those games were better than anything on Switch or 3DS; in my opinion, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess are the two worst mainline Zelda games of all time, and that Switch has dozens of better releases on it than the Wii U, and my opinion is just as valuable as yours.

But if we're looking at factual information, the reality of the sales data reveals that the majority didn't find the Wii U console to be as compelling as the 3DS, nor did they find those games you listed as compelling purchases. Breath of the Wild alone puts all of those games to shame.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker 2.31m
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD 1.12m
ZombiU 0.84m
Pikmin 3 1.26m
The Wonderful 101 0.36m

Total sales: 5.89m sales. To put that into perspective Breath of the Wild has sold 16.34 million on Switch, and continues to sell. That's roughly three times the number of all five of those games combined. Critically speaking, those Wii U games generally scored in the 70s and 80s from reviewers, while games like Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey generally got perfect scores scores from critics. Both Switch games are among the most critically acclaimed games in of all time. Breath of the Wild , and is on its way to becoming one of the best selling games in history.

Breath of the Wild released on Wii U and made barely a blip, sales-wise, compared to its Switch counter-part. Most of its critical praise comes from equalization with the Switch score. The reality is not many wanted this game on Wii U, the Switch version was far more compelling.

Let's move onto 3DS.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D 6.02m

Again, higher than all 5 of those games you listed combined. Not to mention it enjoys mostly 90-100% scores from critics. So, like it's bigger sibling Breath of the Wild, Ocarina of Time 3D outperformed those 5 Wii U games both critically and commercially.

And no, I don't find it strange that the Wii U has better graphics, I find it strange that you think that makes it more compelling than 3DS. The 3DS has more than just portability over the Wii U, clearly the games library (your opinion is irrelevant since it's just your word against mine, we're talking about the reality of how the library was received), it has a superior interface (no looking up and down on the touchscreen, dividing attention), a snappier OS/quicker loading, on top of its portability.

Even if what you said were true, it's more of a strong statement of how bad the Wii U actually was. What you're actually saying is that the Wii U was so bad that  portability was all that was needed to beat it.

Now, since I have to live up to my forum-gimmick:

TL;DR - You got stomped.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
