MS is paying the developers a pretty big sum upfront. Not sure how that works with PsNow but Sony probably can't or is isn't interested in matching that. 

I agree. Sony doesn't have the same thing because they don't want and don't need it.

It's yet to be seen if Xbox will bring the masses to their system next generation due to Game Pass benefits.
