Verbal communication is huge for a President, which is one of the reasons why Trump won his election, ironically some would say, so Biden is going to have a really tough time against Trump in this respect. That's not to say Biden doesn't have other qualities that some will prefer over Trump.

The preamble as it was written:

The preamble with Biden's gaffe and adlibs:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men [and women] are created...[you know , you know the, you know the thing]...equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

So again, if he was trying to say "God" it was wrong to begin with.
And if he was trying to replace "God" or "Creator" with something else....he wasn't even at that part of the preamble yet.  That's 7 words later.

Fun fact: My cousin wrote the DoI. He was 33. Talk about making me feel like slacker.

So to be clear, you're saying the clip doesn't show the full sentence? I saw another short clip earlier, showing the same thing, which is why I assumed that was it. He goes on after the fact and finishes it? If that's the case then the avoidance of certain words wouldn't make sense here, and only the poor verbal communication in general.
