It has been an amazing three years, and a fantastic primary console for me since launch. Being able to play console games on my TV or during my downtime at work has been a game changer for me in so many ways. Great 1st party games, along with some 3rd party collaborative releases such as Astral Chain, Mario Plus Rabbids, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, have really fleshed out a robust exclusive library for those that would choose to use it as a secondary device. Lets also not forget the select WiiU games that got a second chance at life, fantastic indie support, and a number of 3rd party multiplats as well.
Highlights for me include my game of the gen in Breath of the Wild, Fire Emblem Three Houses, and playing Witcher 3 again from start to finish thanks to portability you cannot effectively find anywhere else.
With many great games on the horizon, such as BotW2, Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, Xenoblade Remake, along with unannounced projects we have yet to uncover, the Switch still leaves gamers with a lot to look forward to.
Congrats Nintendo, the success is well deserved! While there are still a few things to improve upon, such as online, the Switch has truly changed gaming for me. As this is a time of celebration, I will leave it at that.
