No, it seems like many who purchased a ps4 or x1 early on decided to buy the switch after many years. Next time, with system releases being closer and much less hardware acumulated between ps5 and xsx by the time switch 2 is out, the numbers will be way more telling of this competitve scenario.

Switch and PS4/Xbone have sold alongside each other for the past three years, almost as long as those two were out before Switch arrived. An overlap this big won't be just people who bought a PS4/Xbone before the Switch came out.
