As long as the price is fair, many people just want to play a game and move on. Most don't give a danm about collecting boxes. So why not streaming?
Fair subscription model will be the decisive factor, not the technology itself.
The only problem will be the multiplication of subscription accounts once the technology gets commoditised among the publishers/devs. The same thing that is going on with TV.
