At least gyro controls have become standard for shooters on Switch which is at least a big step up from analogue alone, but if there's one thing I'd love to see in Switch 2 it's some kind of more advanced and smaller IR camera that can act as a pointer without the need for a sensor bar.

I want this back so bad.  Every shooter or game with screen targeting now suffers from the lack of it. 

I have been playing the de Blob games again with my wife recently on Switch.  We loved them on Wii and the squeal had a 2 player option that can point and interact with the world.  On Switch, you use an analog stick and it feels like crap in comparison. It's so bad that we almost don't even use it and it takes away from that simultaneous 2 player feature that was so much fun on Wii.

Yeah I loved it so much in games like Metroid Prime 3 and Sin & Punishment Star Successor. While I do enjoy them with gyro, the thought of playing a game like Doom 2016 with pointer aiming... *drools*
