This is something I'd be much more interested in seeing than a "Switch Pro"; they've already made a revision that's portable only, it would make sense to provide the flip side of the coin, plus without the screen or battery they could price it even cheaper than the Lite.

As far as Witcher 3 goes, I am interested to see what Saber will deliver with the new update they're hyping up. Perhaps they'll make some of these sort of options available? Or perhaps a performance boost like we saw with the Switch versions of Doom and Wolfenstein II post-launch.

Right, they could probably get it down to $149. Given it will be some sort of microconsole with the Joycon.

And unlike the Vita/Playstation TV, it would actually be compatible with virtually all games.

Exactly; that's the version I'd go for if I didn't already have the regular Switch as I don't care at all for portable play.

The standard hybrid model would still sell the most as it offers the complete package, but I reckon Nintendo could eke out a decent profit from a cheap Switch TV. You could make it really small too with the new 16nm process and no screen/battery.
