I don't get how anyone could like Sonic games. Just tried Sonic Mania and hoped it would be better than all the others I played considering it's supposed to be the best Sonic game in years but I still hate is as much as the others. Terrible platformer IMO.
Convoluted levels that are a pain to navigate unless you know every single one by heart.
Bad controls and weak character moves.
Lame graphics (I know it's supposed to be like the old ones but that's not really an excuse. Generations did it better)
and the biggest flaw which has been in the series from the very beginning, camera is far too close on Sonic. They should've either move it more into the distance or make it dynamic. The faster you go the more you can see of the level. Or give us the options to choose between close and wide cameras.
