Either that or devs absolutely water down those games for other platforms, just so the Switch could run it, to which I'd be miffed.

I'd actually be over the moon if from 2021 onwards Switch got third party support like the Wii; I honestly think the Wii's third party lineup is highly underrated, it got a bunch of really cool titles like Monster Hunter Tri, Red Steel 2, No Mores Heroes 1 & 2, the Goldeneye reimagining, de Blob 1 & 2, Silent Hill Shattered Memories, Sonic Colours, Fatal Frame, Medal of Honour Heroes 2, etc.

As to the latter, there's zero chance that'll happen so you can rest easy.
