I dunno, I just don't get the complaints about this not being a 3D Castlevania. I never want to see a 3D Castlevania again, and 2D Castlevania has been near-perfected on the DS. Going for a different experience in the console version hardly seems like a bad idea. Spinoffs are almost never as good as the main series

Soul Calibur: Legends and RE:UC are two of the most recent spin-offs we've seen, and they weren't even close to the original series in quality/fun/gameplay.
