I think that's literally the same model as your previous link. Wait...there is a minor difference in model number. HX426C16FB3K2/32 I checked the documentation on Kingston site and they are the same just slightly different heat spreaders. This is the better options then: https://www.newegg.ca/hyperx-32gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820104863 |
Same thing as my Team Vulcan RAM. It wasn't on the QVL, but was almost identical in part#, and ended up finding out it's just a new heat spreader. Worked just fine and was a little bit cheaper as well. The old heat spreaders looked a little better though, but were sold out. Oh well.
Ya might as well get the cheaper set then. Looks like I had $150 but it's $175. Not sure if the price changed that quick or I got it mixed up.

Your board will definitely downclock that RAM to 2666. But for that price, it might be worth a go. Check if they have a good return policy. If they do, go for it and let us know if it worked. |
That Vengeance price ain't bad for it's XMP speed. Corsair is pretty popular and usually works. Most QVL's have Hyper X and Vengeance on them so odds are it'll probably work.
