I think it's extremely unlikely that Nintendo will release a $399 successor/Pro model in the same year that the PS5/XBX release instead of re-running 2006 and doing to the 4K twins the same thing they did to the HD twins.
Half price, budget home console with Switch Sports and a (spiritual) sequel to the best Zelda ever made would be a great way for Nintendo to welcome the new consoles in.
