Thx. The i5 probably could've stuck around a few more years with some upgrades, but with AMD pricing in general, plus the sales that were coming, it just made sense to build a couple new rigs. Usually I would build a master race level PC which I would share with my brother, along with our console(s), and then 3-5 years down the road I would pass it off to my parents and build another high end rig. Neither I or my bro have been into PC gaming near as much, since the PS3 and 360 era slowly pulled us in and has kept us since for the most part. That's why I still had the Q6600 from 2007. The shame, oh the shame.

Yep, both of you should be ashamed of yourselves.

In my case it was the opposite, it was during the jump to HD gaming with the 360 that I started to play more and more on PC. Until now, that I don't have any of the current consoles.

Luckily PC's can be upgraded, so maybe one day I'll take the red pill, wake up, and redeem myself.........."I know kung fu".
