The franchise has never been bigger, and the thirst for a real MH on Switch (not just an old 3DS port a la Generations Ultimate) is intense. Capcom would be crazy not to capitalize on that.

Sadly true, third parties often make bad calls, the lack of a proper MH on Switch being just one example. Capcom's handling of the Switch in general has been astoundingly poor, they're really leaving a lot of money on the table by not bringing any new/current gen games to it. It's selling as fast as the PS4 globally and has already passed it in Japan, yet the treat it as if it were the Wii U.
