Thats not suprising, because the better the graphics, the less quality you can achieve with more power. Diminishing returns. Thats why Microsoft and Sony both starts with relatively expensive consoles in 2020, otherwise the graphical advantages of the next gen would be almost invisible.

Errrr a game that have comparable IQ to PS4 have nothing to do with diminishing returns.

Switch won't receive any game that have IQ close to SpiderMan, GoW, TLOU2, Ghost of Tsushima, HZD, etc.

The games where the graphic is similar were because that weren't the main focus. But yes this isn't the only game that IQ is close enough to be said that differences aren't of much relevance.

I dunno, I imagine Okami HD on Switch probably has similarly great image quality to those games, given it's 1080p with x4 MSAA.

Yeah, it's a remaster of an old game, but if we set aside graphical complexity, the base PS4 and Switch actually seem to have a similar IQ ceiling; 1080p with good AA.
