We haven't had a situation where Nintendo aggressively ports all their previous gen games to the new system. So it's hard to say what they'll do based on experience. There's no saying they can't make the game and port it later. Games still take a while so developers can't sit on their hands for too long. 

I think it's value as a Switch 2 system seller would be diminished somewhat if the by-then 100 million plus Switch 1 owners could just buy it there.
