The side vents are the opposite on the real thing. The render has the side vents facing to the back, where as the real thing has the side vents facing forward.

So air intake through the V, and exhaust through the sides but towards the front of the console? That's certainly not typical. I wonder if there were a lot of PS4 complaints from people with a closed off rear cabinet, that would hold the exhaust heat which would get sucked back into the intake and cause the console to heat up quickly, if not overheat eventually. I think this real design would still allow some exhaust to get sucked into the V though, unless those side vents aren't just on the top corners, but down the entire side of the console. That would also be a difference from the render, if that were the case.

Looks better in real life, but won't be in my top 5 visually that's for sure. Hopefully what's under the hood makes up for it and more.
