About the awful quality of the Joycons

While the drift issue is annoying, I wouldn't want to miss out on: Mario Odyssey, Mario vs Rabbids, Breath of the Wild, Astral Chain, Link's Awakening, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Luigi's Mansion and many others. I typically game at home with a Pro Controller, which is my favorite controller to date.
