Smb3 by miles and miles. The absolute best game of all time!
The music is great.
The graphics still hold up well to this day
The difficulty is on point
The world themes are really cool and creative
It has an immense variety of power ups
It has a perfect dark and somewhat evil tone towards the end of game.
The sheer variety of levels and how well made and well edited they are, is mind blowing.
I am still waiting for a SMB game that is going to surpass SMB3, just like BotW surpassed every other Zelda game.
Obs: It has to be a 2d Mario. 3D Mario games don't count because they are way too different.
