The real difference here is that all of a sudden some Nintendo fans are moving the posts. Gaming had always been divided into three categories, and more recently 4 categories. Or smartphone sales... those platforms all play games to don't they? So if you really want to put actions to your words, you should be pushing for us to start racking all thoe kinda sales too. Dude, you are as transparent as glass. It was Sony who STARTED the "PlayStation Family" of sales where they combined sales of all their hardware and only stopped when the Vita bombed. Again, WHY are you trying to make the gaming industry different when judging total sales? As I've said before, when the Switch outsells the PS4, goalposts will move so far that they will be light-years away. This thread is just the tip the of the iceberg. Just look at how long it is. There's a ton of salt building up due to the Lite selling well. Its kinda sad actually. Also notice how many say, "the Switch sales will fall off a cliff when the PS5 comes out". So suddenly the PS5 is a handheld? Or when the PS5 comes out the Switch morphs into a console again? You guys are pathetic. Meh.
