I gotta add my 2 cents here.

Face it guys, it's simple. They scored it higher simply because it's on the switch....and, obviously, it has less reviews (over half less) than it did on PS4. It has a lot of room for the rating to go down still.

It’s a definitive edition of a already great game. Having a higher score just means that the new content truly enhanced the game. If it was on PS4 the score would be just high, cut that silly stuff

Man, it pains me to write that, it does and I wish it wasn't true...but man, it's just kinda so obvious to me. I still have this feeling that 90 won't stick around for too long.

Reviews are very strange. For one thing, Shadow of the Colossus on the PS4 managed the same score as it did on the PS2 with ONLY the graphics being updated and more items to unlock. But really, nothing drastic that it changes the game for the better.

FFXHD improves on the original, but the score lowers.

I don't know, it's like journalists just pick and choose favourites in which they want the score to be high or low...it's just so confusing I really can't bother with these scores anymore. They become redundant.
