Probably using some ancient technology where you can just access online services without having to go through a paywall. My ancestors told me something about that once. Maybe the technology isn't completely lost yet.

I too have heard tales of this mythical concept of gamers being allowed to play the games they've purchased online without being screwed over with an additional fee. What a strange notion, allowing a customer access to all modes of the product they bought. (Or in this case, downloaded)
