I hate to say this but do people read, Is Ashen a first party game from MS.  If no, then you kind of missed the point.  This is the true reason why people get confused.  They do not actually spend the time to read all the words but see only a few words then form an opinion.  If people take the time to digest everything spoken before jumping to conclusions we would not have to spin around being confused about specific statements.
