Btw, for those saying this is all Sony's fault, and they're stupid to let this happen.....
"Disney asked that future Spider-Man films be a 50/50 co-financing arrangement between the studios, and there were discussions that this might extend to other films in the Spider-Man universe"
Sony would have been pretty weak to roll over on a demand like that. Disney already throws it's weight around enough in Hollywood as it is.
